Starry night reception decor

Reception Decor . Adarsh & Swaathi . Adthiya Mahal, Salem

The Concept

A palette of deep ocean blues, soft ivory, and warm gold — designed to feel calm, regal, and timeless. Blue Bloom was built for couples who want grandeur without noise, and a stage that photographs beautifully from every corner of the hall.

The Entrance

Guests arrived through a blue-draped walkway anchored by a handcrafted floral Ganesha, with lotus-inspired crystal chandeliers overhead and warm spotlights lining the pathway. The entrance was designed as an experience, not a threshold — one that slows guests down and sets the tone before the stage is even visible.

The Stage

Multi-height blue arches, a custom watercolour backdrop, and a bold gold monogram centre the composition. Cascading hydrangea pillars, a mirrored console, sculpted white peacocks with fresh floral tails, and a soft ornamental fountain complete it. Every element was chosen to hold across wide-angle venue shots and close portrait frames equally.

The Centrepiece

The Serene Vault — a heart-shaped iron arch welded, curved, and dressed in soft drapes, layered florals, and crystal accents — was fabricated specifically for this stage. It is the element guests remember, and the frame every photograph resolves within.

The Artist's Corner

A Van Gogh Starry Night-inspired photo nook — tall sunflowers, a painted swirl canvas, ornate white chairs — offered a warm, painterly contrast to the Blue Bloom stage. Two moods, one evening, a richer wedding gallery.
